Final scene

Creating the final scene is starting to become a bit of a burden rather than a project now, I came across several problems while importing all 3 models into one scene.

The first problem was that when importing, some of the objects did not come through at all, so I would be sat with just two engines on the screen and no pods or anything.

The second problem I got was also when importing, I would import the first pod properly, everything is fine, import the second one and it would cause the second to collapse in on itself.

I have fixed both of these problems by simply re-naming the parts as I thought the problem may have been that the parts shared the same name, it's worked and they are all in properly.

After importing all of the models I am now fixed with a different issue as I am not able to save my final piece model as it comes up with another error.

I'm not to sure what this error means, whether it is something to do with the importing or it is to do with the actual save of the file, I will ask and find the problem and hopefully come to a solution to fix this error.

Animation time!

First assignment has been handed in and now straight onto the second one which is animating our models into a 30 second long animation.

Will firstly need to go through some of the class tutorials just to help create the cameras and the paths etc before actually getting on to the animation itself

So far I have gone through some of the techniques for creating and assigning a camera to a path to follow and also a target to attach on to my 3d models so the camera will stick with them and follow them instead of looking over a full map
